Behind the Username Book Tag

So last week I was tagged by the lovely @Faridahhh who blogs at She Who Writes to take part in the ‘Behind the Username Book Tag’ started by Daniel over at The Blogger’s Bookshop. Anyway, without further ado, I present my tag response.

USERNAME: Maisie’s Marvellous Myreads (even though the title says Reviews)

REASON BEHIND THIS USERNAME: It was coined by a close friend when we are at a family dinner after her dad had previously suggested I start a book blog. It might not be the most original name and it’s not short or snappy but it holds a good memory for me so whenever I see my URL I smile.

NUMBER OF CHARACTERS IN USERNAME: 24!

BOOK NUMBER 24 ON MY SHELF: My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga

my heart and other black holes

HAVE I READ IT: Yes! It was amazing, I devoured it in one sitting and it broke my heart! I picked it up in a bookstore on a whim and because I was looking to read more contemporary fiction and it was one of my better decisions! This book deals with an incredibly terrible situation and I highly recommend it!
